Coldwell Banker Expands to Whitefish, Montana

Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC  is moving to Montana. Whitefish, Montana, that is.

Landstar Group, a Kalispell-based residential and commercial real estate company, has joined the Coldwell Banker brand and will begin operating as Coldwell Banker Landstar Properties, effective today- a deal that will establish the first Coldwell Banker Global Luxury ^® branded office in Montana.

The small ski-resort town, set 25 miles from Glacier National Park’s West Entrance and considered a gateway to the massive Flathead National Forest and Flathead Lake, is one of several rural towns that have seen their population levels soar as the pandemic lured people to quieter environs with world-class outdoor recreation. It was the perfect place to land for the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury ^® program.

Whitefish has long been one of the requested locations from Coldwell Banker Global Luxury clients who continue to seek additional vacation getaways for their multiple home portfolios, according to Coldwell Banker officials. “Opening this office with the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury designation supports our long-term luxury growth and signifies our commitment to both our elite clientele and luxury agents worldwide – reinforcing our commitment and leadership in the luxury space,” said Liz Gehringer, President of Coldwell Banker Affiliate Business & COO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.

Led by Matthew Waatti, Landstar Group has served The Flathead Valley for more than 20 years in the real estate, development, and property management industries. Waatti has developed more than 50 real estate projects ranging from commercial retail centers, hospitals, multi-family, luxury condos and housing developments. Along with the development, Waatti has run a real estate brokerage for more than 15 years. The company will open with two offices.

The Coldwell Banker Landstar Properties Kalispell office will house both residential and commercial agents and the Whitefish office will be a residential real estate office branded under the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury ^® program, supporting luxury growth while adding a location that has long been requested from luxury clientele throughout the world. As Whitefish has long been a destination for luxury buyers, the office will reflect a new standard for exceptional affluent experience with interiors that are synonymous with luxury homes in the area and joining the ranks of other Coldwell Banker Global Luxury offices around the world. On the commercial side, Coldwell Banker Landstar Properties joins the network of almost 200 Coldwell Banker Commercial ® companies globally.
